Ironman 70.3 Oceanside
The Ironman 70.3 Oceanside, otherwise known as the “North American home opener”, never disappoints. The notoriously difficult event was held on April 6th, 2019 where we saw OGIO racer Taylor Reid battle his way to a Top Five finish.
Although Taylor is an athletic swimmer, he found himself in a -2:30 deficit after exiting the water. He then put his bike into over-drive and made the jump from 13th place to 6th. Continuing his momentum, he raced up to 4th in the run where he ultimately placed.
Congratulations on a hard-fought top five place, Taylor!

Ironman 70.3 Texas
Alicia Kaye cracked a Top Five finish this weekend at Ironman 70.3 Texas. She looked solid across the swim, bike, and run clocking an impressive 1:23 run split after a 2:15 bike split. This is Alicia’s first race on her new bike, courtesy of sponsor Blue Bicycles, and we can already see the difference it is making.
Alicia finished 4th and will now head to Canada to visit family. We’ll see her race again soon at one of the oldest races on the circuit, St. Anthony’s. Congratulations on the finish, Alicia!
